Miss Elizabeth Harp, died Tuesday, August 2 at the residence of her niece, Mrs. W,T, Long, ten miles southeast of Harper, Kansas.  She was born in Pennsylvania, October 4, 1806.  She came with her parents to Kentucky in 1808 where she lived until 1865, when she removed with her brother, Washington Harp, to Montgomery county.  Nineteen years of her life were spent in the vicinity of Crawfordsville.  She left this county  in January 1886, for Harper, Kansas, where she spent a year and a half.  She was a humble and sincere Christian, having been a member of the Christian church for sixty years.  The funeral discourse was delivered by Rev. Applegate and the interment took place at Danville cemetery. - thanks so much to Kim H  for these obits :)
