Harp - Ann

Monday morning at ten minutes after 12 o'clock at the home near Alamo, occurred the death of Miss Ann Harp, aged 90 years and six months. Miss Harp had never been married and for the past seventeen years, had made her home with her nephew, William Harp. She had been sick for several years with dropsy and a tumor of the stomach and had suffered greatly. The funeral occurred from the home on Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock and the interment was at the Masonic cemetery in this city.

Anna Harp, was born in Bourbon county, Kentucky, in October 1810, and departed this life, April 10, 1902, aged 91 years, 6 months and 9 days. She lived a maiden life and while quite young united with the Christian church and lived a devoted member until her death. She died at the home of her nephew, William Harp, where she had made her home for about seventeen years. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Tharp at the home Tuesday at 1 o'clock p.m. Interment at the Odd Fellows cemetery at Crawfordsville.
