HARMON, Addison

Wingate, April 26 – An attack of heart trouble proved fatal to Addison Harmon early this morning. He had been ill for several months and died at 4 o’clock this morning. The deceased was born at Jefferson, Indiana Sept 2, 1852 and in Dec 1876 was united in marriage to Mary Katherine Eutsler. The wife died several years ago. Six children, William and Grover Harmon of Anderson; Mrs. James Garrett of Butler, Mo; Miss Okah Harmon and George Harmon at home and Alfred, also of Wingate survive. Mr. Hartman (sic) was a member of the Methodist Church. Several of his brothers and sisters, Curtis Harmon of Frankfort, Frank of Pekin, Ill; Charles of Independent, Kansas; Mrs. Flora Kennedy and Mrs. Sam Turpin, also of Independent and Mrs. Detwilen of Lafayette also survive. ~~~transcribed by kbz
