Harlow - Lewis

Lewis Jackson Harlow who was born in Wayne Township, Montgomery County December 4, 1844 died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harve Sweeney which is near Oak Hill, yesterday morning at 10:30 after an illness of two weeks caused by inflammation of the bowels. Mr. Harlow's wife whose maiden name was Miss Anna Moore, preceded him in death about 15 years, Mr. Harlow was a member of the Waynetown Masonic Lodge and Baptist Church. He was one of the most prosperous farmers in this county; all of his life was spent in agricultural pursuits in this vicinity. The survivors are Mrs. Harvey Sweeney, Crawfordsville; Kenneth Harlow of Beloit, Wisconsin and Lester Harlow of this city. Besides these there are three grandchildren. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 in the Waynetown Baptist Church under the charge of Rev. Duncan.
