LEBANON — Tom Hardaway, 48, of Lebanon, died at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Vincent's Hospital at Indianapolis. Mr. Hardaway was a member of the United Methodist Church and Elks Lodge at Lebanon, Masonic Lodge at Darlington and served as past president of the Rotary Club at Columbia City. He was also a member of the Indiana Cattleman's Association. He had been employed by Producers Marketing Association at Indianapolis for the past 25 years. Mr. Hardaway was a graduate of Darlington High School. He lived at Columbia City most of his life and moved to Lebanon in June, 1972. He was married Dec. 10, 1950 to Geneva "Zib" Lamkin. She survives. Also surviving are his parents, James T. Hardaway and Helen Miller Hardaway of Darlington; a daughter, Mrs. David (Marsha) Truitt of Lebanon; and a sister, Mrs. Damon Warren of Darlington. Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Russell and Hitch Funeral Home at Lebanon. The Rev. W. Wayne Yeater will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
