Waynetown, Ind. – Mrs. Sylvia May Harbold, 65, of Crawfordsville Route 6, died at 11:35 p.m. Sunday (Nov. 7, 1965) at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. She was a patient three days and had been ill a year – seriously one week. She was born Sept. 17, 1900 at Waynetown, the daughter of John and Lydia Cummings. She was married to Virgil L. Harbold on Aug. 11, 1922. Mrs. Harbold attended Waynetown and Breaks Schools. She worked several years at the B&G Restaurant in Crawfordsville. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Vernon of Crawfordsville and Jack of Wingate; a daughter, Mrs. Alice May Long of Lafayette, and eight grandchildren. Three sons and a grandson preceded her in death. Services will be at 10:30. a.m (EST) Tuesday at Servies Funeral Home. The Rev. John R. Servies will officiate, with burial in Wesley Cemetery. Friends may call at funeral home after 4 p.m. Monday. – jlr
