The Grant Avenue crossing in Crawfordsville in spite of being guarded by light and bell signals, got two more victims on Saturday morning at 10:45. Mr. and Mrs. William A. HARGER of Newport, on their way to a funeral in Pendelton, drove into the side of a Big Four engine coming from the East. Mrs. Harger was instantly killed and Mr. Harger badly injured. While bystanders said the signs were working, another car crossed barely in time to avoid a double accident. The crossing is a very dangerous one. - typed by kbz
