Mrs. Orphelia Pearl HANNAH, 65, wife of Charles Hannah, a resident of Waveland for 38 years died shortly after midnight Wednesday at her home in Waveland. She had been ill for two years and seriously for 5 months. Born Dec 29, 1890, in Galesville, Illinois Mrs. Hannah was the daughter of James and Josephine CURRY. She was married Feb 3, 1911, in Urbana. Mrs. Hannah was a member of the Methodist Church in Waveland and held membership in the Women's Society of Christian Service, the Modern Marthas organization and ladies Auxiliary of Raymond Todd Post 323 Waveland. She was also a Gold Star Mother. Survivors include 3 sons: Raymond Hannah of Waveland; Sgt Charles Hannah of Camp Polka, La and Robert L. Hannah of Indianapolis; 3 daughters, Mrs. John Freed and Mrs. William B. Bryan both of Monrovia, California and Mrs. Leslie Martin of Lafayette; 11 grandchildren; one brother, Timothy Curry of Monticello and 3 sisters: Mrs. Etta Swartz, Danviille, Ill; Mrs. Oliver Vance, Chico, California and Mrs. Frank Sharp of Paxton, Ill. Mrs. Hannah lost a son, Russell in WWII. An infant son also preceded her. Funeral services were held at the Machledt Funeral Home Saturday with Rev. Ernest Prevo as the officiating minister. Burial in Mansfield, Ill. - kbz

Hannah, Mrs. Ophelia, 64, formerly of Mansfield died Thursday night at Waveland, Ind; leaves sons, Raymond, Waveland; Charles in the service stationed in Louisiana; Robert, Indianapolis, Ind; daughters, Mrs. John Freed, Monrovia, Calif; Mrs. Delores Bryan, Pasadena, Calif; Mrs. Leslie Martin, Lafayette, Ind; three sisters, one brother, graveside services 2 p.m. Saturday in the Mansfield Cemetery. -s
