WAVELAND - The funeral for Charles V. Hannah, 88, of Waveland, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Machledt & Servies Funeral Home here with the Rev. Steven Fuchs officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield (Ill.) Cemetery. Mr. Hannah, a resident of this area since 1918, died Sunday in Golden Manor Health Care Center at Ladoga after a five-year illness. Mr. Hannah was a grocer with his father in Mansfield until moving to Waveland. He had been a farmer many years. He was a member of Waveland Covenent United Methodist Church A native of Mansfield, he was born July 20, 1887, a son of Hugh V. and Luella Clouser Hannah. He was married Feb. 2, 1910, to Ophilia Curry in Illinois. Surviving are three sons, Raymond of Waveland, Robert of Carmel and Charles Jr. of Ward, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. John (Violet) Freed of Hemet, Calif., Mrs. Leslie (Lucille) Martin of Lafayette and Mrs. William (Delores) Bryan of Alta Loma, Calif.; an Aunt, Miss Peggy Clouser of Chicago; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. - jlr
