Martha E. Hancock 64 of 702 Sherwood Drive died at 1:10 a.m. today (Oct 16, 1979) at her home. Mrs. Hancock was a member of Culver Hospital Auxiliary, Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church and the church's Anna Harter Association. She was born Jan 1, 1915 at Ladoga, a daughter of Fred and Opal Whitecotton Ferrel. She was a 1933 graduate of Crawfordsville HS. On June 18, 1933 she married Homer E. Hancock, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Nancy Leoucis of Decatur, Ill and Jane Hannebohn of Mattoon, Ill; a sister, Kathryn Grimes of Waveland; a foster sister, Delores Taylor of Crawfordsville 7 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Larimore Wickett officiating. Burial in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
