Washington Hampton died today at 1:30 o’clock at his residence, corner of Spring and Walnut Streets, aged 47 years. Mr. Hampton was a member of Co. K, 140th Regiment, and leaves a wife and four children. Burial at Masonic Cemetery tomorrow at 2:30 o’clock. Services by Rev. G. P. Fuson.
