Waynetown - Darrell Hamm, 85 of 108 W. Union St, Waynetown, died at 10:50 a.m. Friday in Culver Hospital. Mr. Hamm was employed at RR Donnelley & Sons for 45 years, retiring in 1969. He had lived in the Waynetown communicy since 1937. He was a member of Waynetown Christian Church, Donnelley Square Club, and 50-year member of Waynetown Masonic Lodge 302. He was a 1924 graduate of Alamo High School.
He was born April 1, 1904, near Alamo to Iven Everett and Edith Pearl Morrison Hamm. He was married to Orpha Blanche Pierce Feb 15, 1930 at Paris, Ill. She died July 3, 1966. SUrviving are two sons, Danny of San Jose, Calif and Gary of Rt 1, New Ross; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Sherry) Fields of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Ruby FYffe of Crawfordsville; 10 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A daughter, Mary Jane Moore died in 1982. Two infant children, a sister and a brother are also deceased. Services are shceduled for 10 a.m. Monday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with Revs. Dorman Winger and Tim Stanwood officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 3-8 p.m. Sunday. Masonic services are scheduled at the funeral home uUnday night. The family requests memorials be made to the Heart Association - kbz
