The relatives of the late Nat Hamilton are much exercised over his death. It is known that the disease from which he suffered and which would ultimately have caused his death was the result of his being struck on the head with a weight by a former well known citizen. When his dead body was dressed numerous fresh bruises were found on his head and body and one of his arms was broken. It is stated that these were caused by his having fallen the day previous to his death. Those conversant with the excellent condition of affairs at the county asylum are satisfied that such is the case.

Nat Hamilton, who is an inmate of the poor farm, for the past two days, has been in a most critical condition. He is suffering from what might be called nervous prostration and for the last forty eight hours the convulsions have been constant and without intermission. Unless he can soon find relief, his terrible suffering must end in death.
