Mrs. Elizabeth Hamilton, wife of Walter Hamilton, died this afternoon at the home of her adopted mother, Mrs. Albert Muhlelsen, on West Market street. Death was caused by injuries received six weeks ago, when her clothes caught fire, and she was terribly burned. The accident happened at the home of Col. Tude Hamilton's farm, three miles east of Shannondale, and the next day she was brought to Crawfordsville, where she has been ever since under the best medical care. The deceased was twenty-five years of age and was born in this city. At an early age, her mother, Mrs. William McNeeley died and she was taken by Mr. and Mrs. Albert Muhlelsen, who raised her. Four years ago she was united in marriage to Walter Hamilton, and to this union was born one son, Rilen Albert Hamilton, who with the father survive. She is also survived by her father, William McNeeley, and one brother, Sport McNeeley. The funeral service will be held from the home of Albert Muhlelsen on West Market street Monday afternoon at 2:30 and will be in charge of an Episcopalian minister. Internment will be made in Oak Hill.
