Funeral services for Fred O. Haltom,56, of 806 Sloan St, a retired Wabash College employee who died Monday morning in Culver Hospital, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Powers Funeral Home. Rev. Lester Wright will officiate and burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery at Indianapolis. Friends may call at the funeral home here after 4 p.m. Thursday. Mr. Haltom, who had been in ill health four years, was hospitalized 12 days in Culver. He was an Owen County native, born May 5,1912 to Earl and Launa Payton Haltom. He was educated in Indianapolis schools. He was married in Indianapolis on Jan 20, 1950 to Lorraine Duncan, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Dennis O. Haltom, with the air force: three daughters, Mrs. Harry (Deloris) Griggs of Crawfordsville and Mrs. John (Donna) Siccchting and Mrs. Ronald (Fredericka) Prather of Martinsville; three stepsons, Garry Wilshire of Franklin, Gale Wilshire of Southport and Dale Wilshire of California.- typed by BR
