Mrs. Rhoda Halstead, wife of William H. Halstead of Kirkpatrick, died Mon. noon, Feb 11 at their winter home, 53 Fairview Ave, Daytona, Fla at the age of 70 years. Her husband, two daughters, and one son were at her bedside when death came. Mrs. Halstead was the daughter of John and Mary Ann Coyner and was united in marriage to William W. Halstead, Aug 13, 1867. To this union were born 8 children. The husband, five children and one sister survive. They are: Mrs. Fielden E. Morin of Linden; Miss Ruby Halstead of Kirkpatrick; William C. Halstead and John C. Halstead of Brookston; Josiah Halstead of Kirkpatrick and the sister, Mrs. HC Shobe of Linden. Funeral services were held at Dayona, Fla, Wed. afternoon, Feb 13. The remains were placed in a retaining vault at Seabreeze, Fla and will later be removed to Linden Cemetery for final interment. kbz
