Paul Leslie Hallett, 73, Waynetown died 4 a.m. Tuesday in his home.  Mr. Hallett was a retired farmer, having farmed in Montgomery and Fountain counties.  He was a 52-year member of Alamo Masonic Lodge where he was past master. His other memberships included Order of Eastern Star 498, Alamo American Legion 72, Crawfordsville, Elks Lodge 2606 Punta Gorda, Fla and 50-year member of Farm Bureau.  He was an Alamo Christian Church member but had attended Waynetown Christian Church in recent years.  He was a WWII Army veteran and a 1945 Alamo HS graduate.  He was born Feb 26, 1927 at Montgomery County to Alba (sic) and Stella Hamm Hallett.  He married Ramona Thompson on Aug 21, 1946 - she survives.

Also surviving are a son, Steve, Hillsboro; two daughers, Susan Wynne, Punta Gorda and sallie Thompson, Indianapolis; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  A brother, Lee is deceased.

Funeral services are scheduled 10 a.m. Friday in shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 S Indiana 25, Waynetown with Rev. Ed Maurer officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.  Friends may call 4-8 p.. Thursday in the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to Alamo Christian Church of Waynetown Chrisitan Church.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
