Alamo - Funeral services for Mrs. Ina Elmore Hallett, 88 of Alamo will be conducted 2 pm. Saturday in Servies-Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown with the Rev. Nobel Carothers officiating. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. Eastern Star memorial services will be conducted in the funeral home at 8 o'clock tonight. Mrs. Hallett died Wednesday in a hospital at Venice, Fl (9 May). She had been a patient there since April 29. Mrs. Hallett and her husband made their winter home at Venice. She moved to Alamo in 1948 from Crawfordsville. She was a member of Alamo Christian Church, Alamo Ladies Aid and Alamo Home Demonstration Club. She was also a member and past officer of OES Chapter 498 at Alamo. Born Dec 3, 1884, near Alamo, she was a daughter of Robert D. and Hattie Ballard Jefferies. She was educated in Ripley Township schools. She was first married to Clayton Elmore of Alamo. He died in 1944. Her second marriage was in 1954 to Alva Hallett. He survives. Other survivors include 3 sons, Robert I. Elmore of Cassville, MO; Ethride Elmore of Pantwith, Utah and Omer Dale Elmore of Darlington; a daughter, Mrs. Aletha Mitchell of Tempe, AZ; a stepson, Paul L. Hallett of Alamo; 11 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 daughters, Mrs. Bernice Todd of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Pricilla Wittman of Lafayette and Mrs. Neva Love of Crawfordsville; an infant daughter; 3 sons; a brother and 3 sisters. - kbz
