Mrs. Silas Hall, wife of a prominent farmer near Max (Mace?) attempted suicide Sunday while temporarily insane by taking an ounce of carbolic acid. She cannot recover. To over work during the hot weather is attributed for her insanity and her attempt at suicide. She is about forty years of age and has a husband and one child.
