The following notice of the death of Mrs. Jane Hall has been handed The Journal for publication: On Saturday morning at 5 o’clock the terrible sufferings of Jane Cully were ended. The cause of her death was congestion of the brain, the result of a severe case of la grippe. She was born in County Down, Ireland, April 1, 1832, her maiden name being Henderson. At the age of 16, she united with the Presbyterian Church, was married twice, her first husband being Michael Cully. Unto them were born three children, John, Samuel, and Mrs. Doc Griffin. In 1870 she was married to Wm Hall and one child, Lillie, being the result of this union. She was a devoted mother, and a kind and loving neighbor. Her illness was only a few days but her suffering was intense and she was conscious until a few hours before her death. Had she lived until April, she would have been 58 years old, but she has gone to rest beloved by all who knew her.
