John Harvie, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Orvall Hall, died on Sunday evening after being ill since Tuesday noon. Funeral services at Freedom Church on Tuesday morning at 10 were conducted by Rev. John Caldwell of Crawfordsville; burial in Freedom Cemetery. The Heavenly Father has again sent the angels to earth and plucked another of his flowers to be transplated into that angel garden to blossom forever. Little John Harvie, son of Orval and Zenia Hall was born Feb 16, 1921 and on Sunday evening July 22 just as the sun was sinking, he bid the world farewell, aged 2 years 5 months 6 days. He was loaned to us for only a little while, yet by his bright loving ways, he had endeared himself to many. He will be sadly missed by all, especially the half brother, little LeRoy Bacon, and all the children of the neighborhood. The toys are all laid away, the little chair is empty now, the patter of little feet will never more be heard, the baby voice just learning to say "papa" and "mama" silenced here forever, is shouting and singing songs of praise with the angels. He is survived by the father, mother, half brother, and a number of relatives and friends. The bereaved parents wish to express their appreciation to the friends and neighbors for the kindness and sympathy and the beautiful flowers. - kbz
