Hall - Elijah - War 1812

Elijah Hall died at his residence about 8 miles west of this city last Saturday at the age of about 83 years. The remains were interred the following day at the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. Mr. Hall was born in Louden County, Virginia and passed his early life in that state. He held a commission in the Army during the War of 1812 and was engaged in fighting the British troops around Washington. He removed to this country in 1833 and settled on the farm where he remained until his death. He leaves a wife, one son, two daughters and a large circle of relatives to mourn his loss .. M.
