Hall - Clint

Source: Crawfordsville Review 8 Aug 1913 p 1

City authorities sympathized with Albert “Bulldog” Hall, convicted negro bootlegger, when word was received here yesterday of the death of his brother, Clint Hall of Thorntown. The bootlegger who was in jail serving sentence of 480 days was given his release to attend the funeral and also the assurance that he would not be jailed if he returns to the city.  Hall served more than half of his sentence.  Clint Hall, the brother, died suddenly at the home of the mother in Thorntown early yesterday. Death was due to a hemorrhage of the lungs.  His wife is in a serious condition. The dead negro formerly lived here. – kbz
