Gustav Halben, 96 years old one of Crawfordsville's oldest residents died Monday night at Culver hospital where he had been critically ill 5 days. Death was hastened by a fractured leg which he sustained recently. Mr. Halben was a native of Germany, and was born in November 1846 the son of Silbins Frieda Halben. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Wed afternoon at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home as the body will be kept there preceding the rites.
