Veedersburg - Mrs. Nellie Haines, 73 of Veedersburg died at 8:36 p.m Monday in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Ill., She had been a resident of Covington Manor Care Center.  She was born at Waynetown on Dec 5, 1908, a daughter of Everett and Flossie Foster Flouts.  She was married to Carl Haines April 14, 1926 in Montgomery County. He preceded her in death Aug 21, 1975. She was a member of the Prairie Creek Baptist Church and Stone Bluff Ladies Aid.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Doug) Potter of Rt 4, Veedersburg, and Mrs. Sam (Jean) Swingle of Willard, Ohio; a step-brother, Harold Bratton of Waynetown and three grandchildren, Bill Potter stationed with the US Army in Turkey, Beth Potter of Leonardtown, Md and Patrick Swingle of Willard. A brother and sister are deceased. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Parham Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Hybarger officiating. Burial will be iun Waynetown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday. - kz

Mrs. Nellie Haines of Veedersburg, age 73, died Monday evening, December 7, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. She was born at Waynetown, December 5, 1908, the daughter of Everett and Flossie Foster Fouts. April 14, 1926, she married Carl Haines, who died August 21, 1975. Mrs. Haines was a member of Prairie creek Baptist Church and Stone Bluff Ladies Aid.
  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Earl Potter of RR 4, Veedersburg, and Mrs. Sam Swingle of Willard, Ohio; a stepbrother, Harold Bratton of Waynetown; and three grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday) at Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Rev. Harry Hybarger officiating, Burial was in Waynetown Cemetery. -s
