Ladoga,10-24-- Paul Hagan, 3-year-old son of Turner Hagan who lives on the Harshbarger farm north of town died Wednesday night at 11:30 from influenza that developed into pneumonia. His mother preceded him in death just one week.
Note: Mother is Louisa Eliza born March 1874 (1900 census) and died 16 Oct 1918 (Death Record H-36-p 81 - mother & son are on the same page - how sad - this family was from Kentucky and had only lived in Brown & Clark township area a few years - the husband - Turner Sylvester Hagan was born in Metcalfe Co Kentucky on 20 Jul 1875 (WWI Draft information)

Ladoga, Oct 17 – Mrs. Turner Hagas (sic), residing north of this
city, died last night about 10 o’clock from influenza. She lived on the George Harshbarger farm, having only moved there within the last two months. The deceased was 43 years old and was the mother of eight children, all of whom survive her. She had been an invalid for several years. Two of the sons are in the army and stationed at West Point, Ky, the other six children reside at home and at the present time are all confined to their beds with influenza. Besides these children, she is survived by her husband. – kbz
