Larry D. Haffner, 53 of Imperial Boulevard, Lake Holiday died at 4:30 a.m. Monday in his home. Mr. Haffner was employed as a heavy equipment operator with the Crawfordsville Street Department. He attended New Market High School and went on to serve in the Navy in 1960-61. He was a member of Woodland Heights Christian Church. He was born Sept 10, 1941 at Crawfordsville to Frederick and Mary Josephine Hester Haffner. He married Roberta Harwood Feb 11, 1962 at Crawfordsville. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Roxana Kay Haffner and Vorina Lee McDonald, both of Crawfordsville; three brothers, Gerry of New Market, Kenneth Denham of Kississimee, Fla and Wayne Daniels of Peoria, Ill; two stepsisters, Susie Barnes of Crawfordsville and Betty Hardin of Bay Minette, Ala; two stepbrothers, Daniel and Ernest Estelle, both of New Market; and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by a grandchild. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Wilkie officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
