NEW RICHMOND— Mrs. Pauline Hackerd, 46, of New Richmond died at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette Sunday afternoon. She had been ill six months. Mrs. Hackerd was born in Frankfort Jan. 4, 1914, the daughter of Ross and Amanda Caser Howe of Rt. 6, Frankfort, who survive. She was married to Paul R. Hackerd Nov. 2, 1940, who also survives. Other survivors are Don Ewbank of San Diego and Rollis Hackerd of New Richmond, both sons; a granddaughter, Kimberly, and a sister, Mrs. May Perry of Lafayette. She has lived in New Richmond since 1946, moving there from Frankfort. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Goodwin Funeral Home in Frankfort with Rev. Lester Knopfmeier officiating. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
