HILLSBORO — Theodore C. Hacker, 60, died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, June 27. Hacker was the son of Charles and Iva Hamilton Hacker. He was born December 21, 1910, near Mulberry, Indiana. Mr. Hacker was married May 6, 1961 to Marnell Hershberger, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Miss May Hacker, Indianapolis, three sons, Charles T. of Crawfordsville, Theodore C. of Englewood, Ohio, Jerry L. of Indianapolis, two step-daughters, Miss Jill Hacker, Crawfordsville, Miss Jane Carlson, Newburg, Oregon, one sister, Jane Shawley, Bangor, Maine, and nine grandchildren. Mr. Hacker was a veteran of World War II and a retiree of RMC of Attica. He was a member of the Veedersburg American Legion Post 288, the Wabash Masonic Lodge of Attica, the Scottish Rite organization of Indianapolis, and the Presbyterian Church of Attica. The funeral was Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Bonebrake Cemetery with Rev. Bud Stidham officiating. Military rites were held at the grave. The Crumley-Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. --typed by Walt W
