Darlington, March 6 -- Mrs. LH Pickett of this place received a telegram Monday informing her of the sudden death of her brother, Oliver Hamilton at Becker, Minn. Mr. H, who was 42, left here about 15 years ago, going to Iowa and later Minn. He leaves a wife and several children.

A message was received Monday morning by Mrs. A.H. Pickett informing her of the death of her brother, Oliver Hamilton at his home in Becker, Minn. The death was very sudden, Mr. Hamilton having been in his usual good health and occurred early Monday morning. Mr. Hamilton will be remembered by many people here, having been a resident of this place some 15 years ago. He was 42 and leaves a wife and 5 children besides the following two brothers and four sisters, who are: John Shriver of Clarks Hill, Grant Hamilton of Jefferson City, Mo; Mrs. Lucy Harper of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Mary Dunbar, Los Angeles, Mrs. Bert Decker, Indianapolis and Mrs. A.H. Pickett of Darlington. Mrs. Pickett and Mr. Shriver left at 4 o'clock Monday for Becker. - kbz
