Beatrice Grissom Succumbs At 86- Mrs. Beatrice M. Grissom, 86, 130 1/2 N. Green St., died at 6 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Nursing Home after a two and one-half year illness. She was born June 6, 1872, at Ladoga, the daughter of Donald and Mary O'Brien Hannifin. She married James Thomas Grissom, who died in 1910. Mr. and Mrs. Grissom started housekeeping in Whitesville. Mrs. Grissom attended Montgomery County schools and was a member of the First Christian Church and Rebekah and Pocahontas Lodges. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Market Kenney of Indianapolis; a brother, Claude Grissom of Mississippi; a son-in-law, Earl Stephens of Waynetown; six grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five children in infancy and a daughter, Cordelia. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Bright Funeral Home with Rev. Paul E. Million officiating. Burial will be in Harshbarger Cemetery in Ladoga. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday. - kbz
