ROCKVILLE – Max Allen Grinley, 49, died at 7 p.m. Monday in his auto at the home of Dr. C. Harstead. Mr. Grinley was attempting to reach the doctor’s office after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was a truck driver for the Parke County Highway Department. Born Oct. 5, 1924, at Rockville, he was a son of John and Rena Bartley Grinley. Survivors include two sons, Roger and David at home; three brothers, Samuel and Louis of Indianapolis and Robert of Benton Harbor, Mich.; and four sisters, Mrs. Maxine Allen, Mrs. Marion Wilkerson and Mrs. Annette Foller, all of California, and Mrs. Harriet Miller of Midland, Mich. Services are incomplete at Barnes Mortuary. – jlr
