Uncle Alfred Grimes of Russellville, died last Saturday night of heart trouble. He was 78 years of age. He leaves a wife and many friends to mourn his loss. The funeral was preached at the Russellville Methodist Church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Russellville Cemetery.

Alfred Grimes departed this life March 16, 1896. He was born in Ky. in 1811; aged 76 years. He was a good Christian worker. He leaves a wife and a host of relatives to mourn his loss. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Russellville.

Old Uncle Alfred Grimes died at his home Saturday evening about 9 o'clock and was buried at the Russellville Cemetery Monday at 2 o'clock. They had services at the ME Church conducted by Rev. Worral. Uncle Alfred was a kind husband and neighbor and a good citizen and good Christian man and loved by all who knew him. He was 78 years of age. Uncle Alfred had paid the debt, the one that we all owe, and in the last day, when the sun has set we hope to meet him on the other shore.- typed by kbz
