Carol Sue Griffin,  66 of Hillsboro formerly of Waynetown passed away at 1 a.m. Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Regina Laughter, in Hillsboro. Born Dec 5, 1942 in Romney she was the daughter of Carrel William Wagner and Thelma Elizabeth Nolan Wagner.  She was a 1960 graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School, Lafayette and she married Raymond E. Griffin Sr on May 28, 1960.  He preceded her in death on Nov 26.  She worked as a cashier for the CVS Drug Store in Crawfordsville and had worked for Herrs Floral Supply in Danville, Ill and Robin Tek Plastic Pipe Mfg in Danville.  Survivors include a son, Raymond (Loretta) Griffin, Jr. Milford; three daughters, Regina (Darrel) Laughter of Hillsboro; Hope Ann (David) Maudlin of Hillsboro and Elizabeth(Tom) Chavez of Veedersburg; two brothers, Ed Wagner of Waynetown and CR "Reginal" Wagner of Warwick R 1; four grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; one great grandchild and four step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson and a great granddaughter. A graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery, Waynetown with Peter Greg McDonald officiating.  Shoemaker Funeral Home, Waynetown was entrusted with the care and arrangements. - kbz
