Miss Iona Pearl Guy passed from among us a little after midnight on Tues morning of this week. Her exquisite talent in lit. and music promised a brilliant future and she had been a social force in the city of Waveland, Indiana form which she came last Aug with her brother and mother. Her death resulted from several converging ailments as she was blooming into young womanhood, being immediately due to syncope of the heart. Miss Iona Pearl Guy, who funeral occured yesterday was bur. at the Masonic Cemetery Many of our best citizens paid their respects to the family at their residence at 1009 Sixth St. The services were conducted by Rev. Norman Skinner of the Presbyt. Church, of which Miss Guy was a member. But the sympathies and talents of the young lady were so broad and generous that it was befitting that Jews and Protestants and Catholics were present at her funeral and laid on her coffin the most beautiful flora tributes. - typed by kbz
