Grimes - Nannie Dix
Mrs. Nannie GRIMES, who came a few days since to stay with Mr. and Mrs. Charles HEINEN died of pneumonia on Sunday morning. Funeral services at the Machledt Home on Tuesday morning were in charge of Rev. Cecil Franklin. Burial in Russellville Cemetery. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vester DIXON and was born December 1864. She first married Preston GOTT of Russellville and later, Eli GRIMES. She is survived by one son, Dr. Charles Gott who is at present mayor of Portland. She was a member of the Parkersburg Christian Church. A niece, Miss Gwendolyn Dixon came from Indianapolis for the funeral. The pallbearers were Robert Miller; Albert Pitcock; Jesse Barrington; Dan Wiltermood, Frank Hester and Charles Heinen. -- typed by kbz
