Crawfordsville – Herschel Glen Grimes, 61 of Rt 1, died unexpectedly in his home at 5:45 a.m. Sunday. Born near Tangier, he resided in Crawfordsville many years. He was a farmer. In 1922 he married Thelma Webb. Surviving with his widow are four sons, Robert of Crawfordsville, Albert of Darlington and Jerry Dean and Herschel Glen, Jr. both at home; four daughters, Mrs. Charles Shoaf of Kramer, Mrs. Louis Lowery of Crawfordsville R 1, Mrs. William Craemer and Mrs. Robert McKendric both of Lafayette; two brothers, Walter of Covington and Patterson of Phoneix, Ariz and one sister, Mrs. Cecil Kessner of Mishawaka. - kbz
