Waynetown July 7 --Rebecca A. Grenard, wife of William Grenard and well known resident of Waynetown passed away at her home Saturday morning at 3 o'clock following an illness from a complication of diseases. Mrs Gernard had been in declining health the past 2 years and seriously ill the past week. She was born July 13, 1845 in Fountain County daughter of Simpson and Catherine Prebo Murray. She was united in marriage to William Grenard 52 years ago and had lived all of her life in Fountain and Montgomery counties. Mr. Grenard her husband, fell and sustained a broken hip about 10 days ago and is in a serious condition at the home. Besides her husband several nieces and nephews survive. The funeral services will be held from the Waynetown Baptist Church of which the deceased was a member Monday afternoon at 2 with Rev. Cletus Brown pastor of the church in charge. Burial will be made in Waynetown Masonic cemetery. - kbz
