Waynetown, Nov 1 - John Elston Grenard, 55 died at his home just northwest of this place Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from a complication of diseases. He had been ill some time. Deceased was born in this community the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Grenard. At the time of his death he was a successful farmer and well known throughout the county. He was married in 1883 to Miss Carrie Westfall of Waynetown. He was a member of the Bapist Church and IOOF Lodge. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Floyd of Attica and Clarence with the american Expeditionary Forces in France; two daughters, Hazel and Naomi both school teachers of this community and two half-brothers, Charles and William Grenard of this place. - kbz
