Lawrence Green, 67, 309N. Grant Ave., died of a heart ailment at his residence shortly after 7 p.m. He had been employed for years at the Crawford Hotel. Mr. Green was a World War I veteran. He is survived by a niece, Mrs. Cecil Cousin of Anderson, until recently a Crawfordsville resident. The body is at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home, where arrangements are incomplete.

Lawrence Green Rites Thursday Funeral services for Lawrence Green will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bright's Funeral Home. Raymond Coolman, chaplain of American Legion Post 72 will be in charge of military rites. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
Mr. Green, 67, of 309 N. Grant Ave., died Monday evening at his home. He was born January 3, 1895 in Sterling, Ky., the son of George and Susan Johnson. He served with the U.S. Army in Europe during World War I. Mr. Green had been employed by the Crawford Hotel a number of years. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church His only survivors are a niece, Mrs. Cecil Cousin of Anderson; a nephew, Eugene Oldham of Paris, Ky. and a great-niece, Mrs. Cleo Hall of Paris, Ky. He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
