James P. Green, 84, retired farmer, died at his home, 712 east Market street, at 12:10 o'clock Saturday afternoon. He had been ill for 12 years. Death was due to paralysis. Born April 5, 1856, near this city, he was the son of Obediah and Martha Milroy Green. He was married December 7, 1882 to Lucy E. Long. The survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Grace Hood; a son, Arthur Green; two grandchildren, James Hood and Mrs. Lois Gerow, and a great granddaughter, Sara Lynn Gerow, all of this city, Four nieces also survive. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home on east Market street. - thanks to Kim H
