Cecil Green, 64, 111 E. Franklin St., a retired Cities Service Oil Co. employe, died at 10 a.m. Sunday at Culver Hospital. He was born March 25, 1901, in Woodward County, Okla., to Lafayette and Grace Odle Green. He was married to Mary Patton Aug. 26, 1923. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and had worked for R. R. Donnelley & Sons before joining the Cities Service Oil Co. 19 years ago. He had been retired one year. Survivors include his wife; a son, Russell of Indianapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Rush of near Waveland; four sisters, Mrs. Blanche Blake and Mrs. Marie Miller, both of Sarasota, Fla., Miss Marjorie Green of Peoria, Ill., and Mrs. Mary Edmons of Alamo. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Revs. Lowell Mitchell and Milo Riggs will officiate. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Tuesday. – jlr
