Mrs. Marcella Grayson, aged 71, died yesterday at her home, 1412 Olney street, following a long illness. She was a native of Crawfordsville and was the daughter of Dr. James G. and Eliza McMechan. She had lived in Indianapolis for eighteen years. She is survived by a daughter, Miss Lula M. Grayson, who is the official court reporter in superior court room 4. Because of her mother's death, Judge Clinton H. Givan adjourned court yesterday. The funeral services will be held at the family home Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock in charge of Rev. Jean S. Milner, pastor of Second Presbyterian Church, and the body will be taken to Crawfordsville Masonic Cemetery in that city. A special interurban car will take the remains to Crawfordsville and some forty friends and relatives will accompany it. The car will reach Crawfordsville at 3:30 o'clock. - kbz
