NEW ROSS – Ward Gray, 74, of this community, died Sunday afternoon at his home. He was a native of near New Ross, born Nov. 9, 1892 to Albert and Elizabeth Ronk Gray. He was married to Kathleen Brown, who preceded him in death in 1929. On Sept. 9, 1935 he was wed to Miriam Davis at Mace. He was in the poultry business for a time with a brother in New Ross. Survivors include his wife and a sister, Mrs. Esther Brown of Crawfordsville. Funeral services are set for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Walker Funeral Home in Jamestown, where friends may call after 7 p.m. Monday. Rev. Thomas Jeffries will officiate, and burial will be in New Ross Cemetery. – jlr
