Darlington – The estate of Thomas W. Gray, Darlington man who died last week was open Monday in circuit court at Crawfordsville. The estate is valued at $32,500 and William Arthur Gray, nephew is named executor. The will dated Feb 4, 1935 makes the following bequests: Grace Dain, a nice $200; Genevieve Robertson, a grandniece, $200; Jessie Zoller, niece, $200; Mary Prudence Milner, great niece, $200; Frank Gray, $200; William A. Gray, nephew, $200; Lois Vannice Cook, adopted daughter, all furniture and household goods and a farm of 105 acres; Willard Mahoy, $1000; Have Mahoy, $300; Zolla Royer, $300; Mary Vannice Mahoy, $350; and Maggie Terry, $100. The remainder of the estate goes to the two brothers, James B. Gray and Perry Grant Gray and a niece, Blanche Casey.  -kbz

Darlington, Nov 19 – Special – Thomas Willard Gray, 75, a farmer living six miles north of here died in a Crawfordsville hospital at 1:45 o’clock this afternoon of back injuries suffered Nov 8 when he was struck by an automobile. Mr. Gray was born in February 1860 on the farm where he spent most of his life.  In Dec 1884, he married Miss Vena Mahoy, who died in 1934. Surviving are one foster-daughter, Mrs. Lois Cook living south of Darlington; and three brothers: Martin and Grant of Darlington and James of Salt Lake City, Utah. - kbz
