Miss Polly Gray, only daughter of James and Mary Gray, departed this life Feb. 16, after a lingering illness of consumption. She was of a lovable nature and was loved and respected by all who knew her. The funeral was preached by Rev. Vanderment at the Christian Union Church Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock, after which a large concourse of sympathizing friends followed the remains to their last resting place at Wesley Cemetery. The parents have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement. Our loss is heaven’s gain. - thanks to S
