Waveland -- Dee Henry Grandstaff, 63, Waveland died in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville Monday afternoon. He had been ill for six weeks. Mr. Grandstaff was a retired employee of Buck's Service Station. Born April 22, 1913 at Veedersburg,he was a son of Henry and Nellie Kearney Grandstaff. He married LaVerne Marshall March 6, 1936 at Crawfordsville. Survivors are a brother, Noel of Crawfordsville, and four sisters, Mrs. Lydia Atkinson or Medway, Ohio; Mrs. Hildred Dobbles of Attica; Mrs. Deane Bowman of Wallace and Mrs. Ruth Bentley of Crawfordsville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Machledt & Servies Funeral Home at Waveland. The Rev. Steven Fuchs will be officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery (Waveland). Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Wednesday. - kbz
