Graham - Ruth Jane

The funeral of Mrs. Richard Graham took place at the M. E. Church Tuesday at 11 o’clock, conducted by the pastor, W. H. Broomfield. Ruth Jane Graham was born in Marion County, Ind., Feb. 27, 1834, and united with the M. E. Church some forty five years ago and lived a consistent Christian life. She was twice married. First to Joseph Murphy, after whose death she married Richard Graham Aug. 21, 1865, leaving two children, James Oliver and John Servies. This family moved to Potato Creek some years ago where they are well and favorably known and respected by all. Last spring they rented their farm and were living with her their son, John, south of New Richmond two miles, where she died May 28, 1899. - s
