William O. Grady, 67 of Veedersburg Rt 1 died at 11 a.m. yesterday April 12, 1968 at St. Elizabeth Hospital where he had been a patient since December 8. Born May 17, 1900 he was the son of Hardy & Maude Furr Grady of Fountain County, Ind. On April 28, 1922 he married Ruby Smith who survives. Also surving are a son, Major Robert E. Grady of Bethesday Md ; two brothers, Ray Grady of Phoenix AZ; and Gerald Grady of Veedersburg Ind and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters. A life resident of Fountain County, he lived at Veedersburg and Covington. He was employed as a machinst at the C&EI shops for over 35 years and retired July 1967. He was a member of New Liberty Christian Church and local 451, AF & L. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home, Covington with Rev John Meyer officiating. Burial in Bonebrake Cemetery. - kbz
