Raymond T. GREVE, prominent Brown Twp. farmer suffered a fatal heart attack at 1 p.m. Wednesday June 6, 1962 at his home in Waveland. He was 67. Mr. Greve had been a resident of this community since 1919 and was a candidate this spring for nomination for county commission from the 3rd district. He served as Brown Twp. Trustee from 1940 through 48. For the past 4 years he had been a member of the Brown Twp. Advisory Board. He also was a delegate to the State Republican Convention. Born Oct 10, 1894 in Douglas County, Illinois he was a son of Henry and Annie HIET Greve. He was married in 1913 to Verna HARDER. As a young man Mr. Greve was a member of the Mt. Zion EUB Church in Douglas County. He transferred his membership to the Byron Christian Church and then Waveland Christian Church. He served as elder of the Waveland Church. Survivors include his wife; four sons: Leonard ; Raymond M; Keith and Bill; four daughters; Mrs. Virginia Hunsicker; Mrs. Edna Jones; Mrs. Joann Bullerdick and Miss Phyllis Greve; 3 brothers; Wilfred; Emil and Arnold ; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Waveland Christian Church with Rev. John Servies and Rev. Lester Niles officiating - burial in Masonic Cemetery, Crawfordsville. - typed by kbz
